1[A Prayer of David.] Bow down your ear, O Yahuah, hear me: for I poor and needy. 2Preserve my soul; for I holy: O you my Elohim, save your servant that trusteth in you. 3Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto you daily. 4Rejoice the soul of your servant: for unto you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. 5For you, Lord, good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon you. 6Give ear, O Yahuah, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. 7In the day of my trouble I will call upon you: for you will answer me. 8Among the gods none like unto you, O Lord; neither like unto your works. 9All nations whom you hast made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and shall glorify your name. 10For you great, and doest wondrous things: you Elohim alone. 11Teach me your way, O Yahuah; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name. 12I will praise you, O Lord my Elohim, with all my heart: and I will glorify your name for evermore. 13For great your mercy toward me: and you hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. 14O Elohim, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them. 15But you, O Lord, a Elohim full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. 16O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give your strength unto your servant, and save the son of your handmaid. 17Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see , and be ashamed: because you, Yahuah, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
