Doubtless you our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: you, O Yahuah, our father, our redeemer; your name from everlasting.

Context

14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the Yahuah caused him to rest: so didst you lead your people, to make thyself a glorious name.

15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where your zeal and your strength, the sounding of your bowels and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?

16 Doubtless you our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: you, O Yahuah, our father, our redeemer; your name from everlasting.

17 O Yahuah, why hast you made us to err from your ways, hardened our heart from your fear? Return for your servants' sake, the tribes of your inheritance.

18 The people of your holiness have possessed but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
